Paul explains how real love behaves in I Corinthians 13:4-8a. He tells us that Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Love is a very precious thing given to us to share with others. When we read this passage over, do we see these things in our life as we interact with others, or do we see areas that we need to work on? Let us apply this Scripture to our daily lives.

In Christ,
Pastor Janet Giles
